A Message From The Chief

Welcome to the Amherstburg Police Service website.   The Amherstburg Police Service is responsible for policing the beautiful, historic, Town of Amherstburg and we patrol approximately 190 square kilometers of territory.  Our Service consists of 31 police officers and 4 civilian members who are all highly trained and dedicated to serving our community.

Amherstburg is a great place to live, work, play and visit.  Our strength lies in community, and respect for all people.  Please enjoy browsing our website but make a point to come and visit us.  You will be amazed at our historical sites, beautiful parks, and the many kilometers of waterfront scenery along the Detroit River and Lake Erie.
